Hey guys, Samurai here with Day 17 of the 30-Day Anime challenge! Hard to believe we’re more than half way done with this month. Time has gone by so freaking fast, it’s almost scary! I guess because I’ve been busy with my new job and other things, I don’t really notice it until I sit down and do one of these posts! Anyway, back to the task at hand. Todays topic is Favorite Male Supporting Anime Character–also known as “Best Bro”. What constitutes a “Best Bro” is a guy who stands by the lead character or characters, even though he may not be one of the main group. He’s the guy who you know, when the chips are down, he’s there to provide backup in the form of an encouraging word, a sympathetic ear, or a full gun magazine clip. Yeah, you can probably guess who my “Best Bro in Anime” is. More after the break.
Day 17: Favorite Supporting Male Anime Character (Best Bro) — Kohta Hirano from Highschool of the Dead
I’ll make this short and sweet–at the end of the day, when the entire world has gone to hell and you have a mob of Living Impaired folks banging down your front door, you kinda want a guy in your corner who knows his way around several different who can fashion a deadly weapon out of regular home improvement equipment. Who cares if he looks like a big, blue pregnant Beluga whale in a girls school swimming suit? The man is a prodigious sniper and a great guy to have around!
Check back tomorrow for Day 18 of the Anime Challenge: “Favorite Supporting Female Anime Character”
