Greetings once again guys! It’s time to award the very first “Drew Threw it to You” award of the new year! This one took some time to come up with, and I had to work really hard to figure out who to give it to…just like the Saints worked so hard in their last game against the San Francisco 49ers. [We’re proud of you guys! The Super Bowl is in our Home Dome next year and we WILL win it!] So, without further ado…let’s get to it!
The First Award Winner of 2012 has been in the anime game for as long as I have been alive.
She has voiced several iconic roles in her career including Faye Valentine from “Cowboy Bebop”, Takeru “T.K.” Takaishi from “Digimon Adventure“, Konata Izumi from “Lucky Star” and the title character from “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya”.
She is an extremely talented ADR Director and Writer, having her name involved in some big name projects like “Bleach”, “Outlaw Star” and several “Digimon” Series.
And, if that wasn’t enough…she is able to shift her voice at will from manic otaku to bullying tsundre “god” at the drop of a hat!
Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the first “Drew Threw it to You” award of 2012 is…
Congratulations ma’am! Your anime accomplishments have broken records left, right and center! May your career take off like a spiral in the endzone!
