Drew Threw it to You & The All Saints Awards

Hey guys! It’s that time again! Yes, it’s time to award the third “Drew Threw it to You” Award! This time, I’m going to do something  a little special…almost as special as the beating we gave the Detroit Lions in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome last Sunday. Yes, that was special indeed. Okay, let’s get with it!

Drew Brees Throwing the Ball To A Person Made of Win

The Third award winner is a well-known voice in the anime industry, as she has been in the game for years!

She has lent her voice to some of the most popular and iconic anime characters in the history of US anime dubs from the always fiery red-head Asuka Langley Soryu/Shikinami to the humble Potato in the “Air” series. [I could make a joke about Asuka, Potato and the rude word for female dog, but I won’t…I’m classy like that.]

She has actually cosplayed as Asuka…IN PLUGSUIT!! [And looks darn spiffy in it too…]

Along with fellow “Drew Threw it to You” award winner Greg Ayres, shes preformed the song “War” on the “Voices for Peace” album. [Sadly, I haven’t heard this yet as neither iTunes or AmazonMP3 carry the song anymore…darn it all…]

Ladies, Gentlemen and Miscellaneous…The winner of “The Cajun Samurai’s” third “Drew Threw It To You Award” is…

Tiffany Grant

Congratulations ma’am! May your voice always convert on third down! Just leave the Hello Kitty helmet at home…the colors are black and gold…not pink and white. Save that for the Falcons.

Now for the special bit. As you guys know, I recently reviewed “His and Her Circumstances”, which, while it did earn an overall grade of “C”, I did commend the director/producer of the project for all the hard work he committed to this project. Only when I read the “Production Notes” and “Director’s Notes” did I realize just how much work he did…almost to the point of exhaustion, which, sadly, may have played a role in his passing. That type of dedication to ANY project is commendable to the utmost extent.

And so, for the first time, I’m awarding a special “All Saints Award” to the Producer/Director of “His and Her Circumstances”…
